Sales Tax Workshop

The South Carolina Department of Revenue is offering a free, in-person sales tax workshop for South Carolina businesses. The program will cover filing and administrative requirements, walk you through filling out a sample Sales Tax return, and answer your questions.

This workshop is designed for any business responsible for filing Sales and Use Tax returns, including new business owners, business owners who have questions about their responsibilities, or accounting personnel for small businesses.

"Capital Conversations" Small Business Resource Mixer

Join the Lowcountry Minority Business Partnership (LMBP) for a free, in-person small business resource mixer, "Capital Conversations," at The Opportunity Center in North Charleston, SC, to learn about the resources available to entrepreneurs to assist with operations, marketing, and accessing capital. The mixer will feature a success panel of local entrepreneurs who have leveraged these resources to enhance their businesses.

 

Attendees will have the opportunity to network with one another and connect with funding sources and Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs). This workshop will also feature the launch of the ecosystem resource guide.
