The Rural Resource Coalition (RRC) 2023 Annual Meeting is a chance for leaders from conservation, farming, forestry, tourism, and community economic development to meet, reconnect, and discover new ways to work together. This year's meeting will focus on the theme "The Evolving Rural Landscape: Modern Challenges and Opportunities for Growth."

At this gathering, you'll learn from robust panel discussions and rural South Carolina leaders about recent successes and challenges as well as emerging opportunities to advance our vision of rural prosperity. A plated lunch will be served.

In order to be eligible for the NxLevel For Microentrepreneurs course, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Applicant’s business must be located in the Columbia, SC area (to include Calhoun, Fairfield, Kershaw, Newberry, Lexington, Orangeburg, Richland, or Saluda counties).
2. Applicant’s business must be in operations for two (2) years or less, or in the process of starting/restarting a business.

Applications will be reviewed by the City of Columbia’s Office of Business Opportunities and applicants will be notified if they have been accepted into the program.

FastTrac is a suite of courses that provide hands-on, intensive instruction to help entrepreneurs hone the skills needed to start, manage and grow a successful business. The City of Columbia Office of Business Opportunities has partnered with Midlands Technical College to provide FastTrac GrowthVenture to Columbia businesses.

Budgeting, sales strategies, management team roles, operational systems and business plan implementation are key areas of emphasis. The course also facilitates networking between entrepreneurs and experienced professionals.
